We Moved!
The LTC and The Regional Office of Education Annex has relocated to 819 Walnut in Murphysboro, IL. We are now in what used to be the Murphysboro School District 186 Unit Office Building. The phone numbers for the annex have remained the same. The next time you are in Murphysboro, please feel free to stop by to look at our new facility.
The Learning Technology Centers (LTC) provide school districts with the technological resources and professional development to improve academic achievement and prepare students for the 21st Century classroom. Illinois' K-12 state technology plan, provides focus for the LTC delivered activities. LTCs work in cooperation with the Regional Offices of Education and Intermediate Service Centers, higher education, special education, and vocational education partners and the Illinois business community.
Area 6 South
Area 6 South consists of Regional Offices of Education 30, 21, and 02 and is comprised of nine Southern Illinois Counties including Jackson, Perry, Williamson, Franklin, Union, Johnson, Alexander, Pulaski, and Massac.
In Collaboration with the ROEs the LTC offers 1st and 2nd level computer and network support to over 45 School Districts.
Services
The LTC provides email services for teachers and administrators in 11 School Districts, the ROE 30 Staff and other associated groups. In addition, Web Hosting for 7 Schools and several other entities is being provided.
